I created this page in response to the request from a few of the people I spoke to about my June 2024 long distance ride in the "lower 48" of these United States within 10 days. It was a great ride and was certified by the Iron Butt Association.

Was this a group thing?
No. I rode alone.

Was it a race?
No. Absolutely not.

Did you plan this route yourself?
No. Not entirely. My route was adapted from fellow long-distance rider (WAY more accomplished than I) Greg Rice's route.

I started my ride in Missouri on June 14, 2024 and completed it in Kansas on June 23. The calculated route is 8,048 miles. Most days my distance was under 900 miles. I did a nested SaddleSore 1000 (1000 miles under 24 hours) while mostly in Montana.

I rode my 2007 Honda Goldwing ABS. (see pics below)
